The bigger issue is that if there really are exactly 6 playable characters, we've seen all 6 in the trailer and none of them are a Nopon. Xenoblade has a history of hiding playable characters so there might be more than 6. | Team Rocket Elite 02/10/22 2:25:24 AM #325 | I'm not sure if anyone told you this already but it's a good idea to turn on "Expert Mode". Despite the name, what it really is is an exp management system that helps protect against getting overlevelled. It lets you moved earned exp to and from per character reserve pools with no penalty. So if you ever find yourself 10 levels above everything, you can take some exp out of your characters. If you feel underlevelled later on, you can move the exp back. It also automatically transfers exp earned from quests and I think some other things to the reserve pool. Doing a bunch of quests can lead to getting way overlevelled although maybe this won't be a problem if you are skipping most of them. --- My bracket looked like random picks compared to his. If you're saying that's not the case then I'll order right now! This is near the top of the list of games I've talked shit about without personal experience that I want to give a fair shake. Sidequests are NOT the core of the game. I'm rather surprised no one corrected that. Xenoblade 2 can mostly standalone but it does make an important reference to Xenoblade 1. Not the end of the world if you miss it (and I imagine a lot of people did since Xenoblade 1 was hard to get). Also some older Xenoblade characters cameo as DLC that's unrelated to the plot. Xenoblade 3 trailer explicitly mentioned building on Xenoblade 1 and Xenoblade 2 but no idea in what way. It wouldn't surprise me if the Xenoblade 1 Future Connected extra story is meaningful here. Also there are some older Xeno reference. But, other than KOS-MOS I'm not really familiar with them. --- My bracket looked like random picks compared to his. Like Tatsu has a worse reputation than anything in Xenoblade 2. Also people got really, really mad about not being able to Lin in a skimpy swimsuit in the English version. There was also the whole breast slider thing as well as other changes. I think that ended up being worse than people complaining about Mythra being tsundere, Rex being Rex and out of nowhere gacha. --- My bracket looked like random picks compared to his.
